A Case Study Brief of L.A.’s Brothers, Sons, Selves Coalition offers accounts from Los Angeles County’s boys and young men of color on the health crisis they face. Informed by the tactics, principles and analysis of the Brothers, Sons, Selves, Coalition, the case study describes how the Coalition’s approach and key strategies allowed for the policy wins, implementation and replication to improve schools across California.

(2017) The Vision 2020 Youth Policy Platform compiles relevant research and feedback obtained from ongoing student focus groups, organizational surveys and coalition planning, along with youth leaders’ ambitions to create a more just world for boys and men of color.

Green Zones and Grassroots is an analysis of California investments to fight global warming and the resulting impact on disadvantaged communities. It geographically maps such programs as tree planting, solar energy incentives, bike pathways, low-income weatherization and clean vehicle rebates.
