Efforts that are grounded in the liberation of Black people, acknowledging the need to equitably shift the power relationship between black and white populations.
Strength
Efforts that support the capacity of Black people to mobilize our individual, collective and community assets toward systemic change.
Strategic Disruption
Efforts that boldly confront conditions that perpetuate inequity, from narratives that justify racial difference, indignity and oppression to policies that reinforce the same.
Love
Efforts that facilitate avenues by which Black people can pursue self-and-community care to heal from the trauma of systemic racism.
Giving Levels
Builder ($25 a month)
Name listed on the B.L.A.C.C. website. Invitation to quarterly Lunch and Learn, Prop Parties, other community and outreach events.
Leader ($50 a month)
Invitation to our annual private event. Name listed on the B.L.A.C.C. website. Invitation to quarterly Lunch and Learn, Prop Parties, other community and outreach events.
Membership begins at $25 a month ($300/year) with no maximum. Contributors at $50 a month or more (minimum $600/year) are given a vote in deciding which organizations receive a grant from B.L.A.C.C.
All members are invited to our quarterly Lunch and Learn events, Proposition Parties, and other community building and outreach events (i.e. Black Women’s Happy Hour).
Members who contribute at the $600/year level are invited to attend an annual private event.
As an advised fund of the Liberty Hill Foundation, all contributions to B.L.A.C.C. are tax-deductible.

B.L.A.C.C. seeks to harness the collective giving power of Angelenos who want justice and liberation for Black people. As a multigenerational network of donor-activists, B.L.A.C.C. supports organizations working on the front lines of social justice in our local communities.
