Here are a few things you can do to get started
Turn off lights you aren't using
Indoor and outdoor lighting consume a lot of electricity. Switch things off when not needed, especially during peak hours.
Do more during the day
Do household chores, like laundry, cooking, and washing dishes, before 4 p.m. when electricity is cheaper and energy is more abundant.
Adjust your thermostat
Adjust your thermostat a few degrees during peak times in the summer to 78 or higher to save money and reduce emissions.
Unplug and Get out after 4 p.m.
