Eyes on the Prize
Making a Progressive Giving Plan for 2025
2025 erupted with firestorms across Los Angeles and a political tidal wave in Washington, DC. ICE raids and deportations are underway, as are attacks on DEI and equity practices. You may be asking yourself how to confront the catastrophes, how to support communities in harm’s way, and how to balance this response with your usual giving.
Liberty Hill hosted this two-part webinar to help update your giving plan in 2025 with the dual crises in mind and keep your ‘eyes on the prize’—shielding and ensuring civil rights, democracy, the climate, and justice for all. What’s a giving plan? It’s a tool that provides clarity about the issues and communities you want to support most. It expresses your vision and values, and helps you allocate your charitable funds annually or on a multi-year horizon.
Led by Sarah Vaill of Liberty Hill and Kofo Anifalaje of North Star Fund, these webinars will engage you in what it means to be in solidarity during a time of defense, defiance, disasters, and disruption. Whether you’re looking to begin your giving journey or refine your existing plan, we’re here to help.
