CEO Update: Statement on Arkansas Police Violence

The latest incident of excessive use of force by police in Arkansas is a testament to the need for urgent reforms. The police violence against people of color that has plagued our country for so long must end.

From Los Angeles to Arkansas, we must raise our voices across the country to make this a reality.

Here in L.A., our grantees and community partners, have been doing the hard work of dismantling systems of oppression and fighting for transformative changes to current punitive methods of punishment and incarceration.
