In This Together: LA Dodgers Foundation Partnership
In the wake of George Floyd’s tragic murder, organizations across the country vowed to take action, to listen, and to make meaningful change.
At Liberty Hill, we found a powerful ally in the Dodgers Foundation. Together, we pledged to fight for social justice, equity, and community empowerment. Today, we are proud to share that this partnership has not only been upheld but has flourished.
The Dodgers Foundation has been unwavering in its commitment to our shared vision. The foundation has not only provided important financial support to social justice causes and organizations but has used its powerful voice to amplify important issues such as youth development work in Los Angeles County.
From the very beginning, they have stood by Liberty Hill and our partners working on progressive change, providing essential support and resources that have allowed us to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
As part of the Dodgers Foundation’s commitment to social justice, the foundation dedicated the 50/50 raffle proceeds from Black Heritage Night at Dodger Stadium to Liberty Hill. The funds raised will go to support the California Funders for Boys and Men of Color (CFBMoC)—a statewide initiative to remove systemic barriers and create pathways to enable boys and men of color to achieve their best.
