Meet Our Newest Hillers: Angela, Thaise, and Griffin!

Angela Reyes, Chief Financial Officer
As Liberty Hill’s Chief Financial Officer, Angela will be a steward for the foundation’s financial health and will oversee our Finance & Accounting team responsible for ensuring proper fiscal management of various finance projects. Angela has worked in the public accounting field for 10 years managing audit engagements within the private, public, and nonprofit sectors. She has also worked for several years in the nonprofit sector as the Foundation Manager for a major institutional client of the Tides Foundation.
Thaise Boyd, Senior Accountant
As Senior Accountant, Thaise’s role is to perform all aspects of Liberty Hill’s day-to-day accounting, general ledger month-end close processes and assist with financial reporting functions. Thaise comes to Liberty Hill with over 20 years of accounting experience—5 of them have been in non-profit accounting—and is coming to us most recently from A Place Called Home, where she has served as the Senior Accountant for the past four years.
Griffin Hatlestad, Program Director of Housing
Griffin joins Liberty Hill as our new Program Director of Housing. With over a decade of nonprofit experience, his housing justice work has focused on supporting families with children who are unhoused or at risk of losing their housing. This work has included housing navigation, shelter operations, grant writing and administration, and program management, including piloting a homelessness prevention program that has grown to serve over 200 families per year. As the Program Director of Housing, Griffin is responsible for working with Liberty Hill’s housing justice partners to implement a variety of housing justice programs, with the goal of empowering Liberty Hill and its partners to successfully keep people housed.
