Please join us in welcoming our newest Hillers, Kristen Franco and Ely Flores.

Kristen Franco, Senior Director of Programs

As Liberty Hill’s Senior Director of Programs, Kristen will integrate impact, innovation, and infrastructure into our program delivery. Kristen brings 15 years of leadership experience across the philanthropic public and community development sectors. Previously, she led LAHSA’s Program Management Office overseeing a team of 20 whose projects were critical to improving LA’s rehousing system. Kristen also held program leadership roles at the Urban Institute and Milken Family Foundation, focused on economic mobility, housing justice and racial equity. Kristen is passionate about inclusive process improvement to maximize impact. Welcome to the team, Kristen!

Ely Flores, Program Director, Bold Vision and ELI

Ely joins Liberty Hill as our new Program Director of Bold Vision & Environmental Leadership Initiative. With decades of youth development experience, his social justice work has focused on ensuring that our communities have a seat and voice at the decision-making table. Ely comes to Liberty Hill after having led Orange County Communities Organized for Responsible Development (OCCORD) as their executive director where he led a thorough rebuilding process that enabled the organization to become one of the most effective power building, civic engagement and government watchdog agencies in the region.
