September’s Grantee Highlight: Gente Organizada

Liberty Hill Youth & Transformative Justice community partner Gente Organizada has been serving historically underrepresented, immigrant populations in the Pomona area since 2010.

Since then, the organization has worked with local families to wield their collective power to achieve educational, economic, and social justice in communities throughout the region.

Today, the organization offers a number of youth development and empowerment programs, parent resources and support groups, and works with community coalitions to promote its community-led movement for change focused on immigration, housing, public safety, and education.
