I am committed to social justice because I believe in empowering communities to drive systemic change. I am honored to contribute to Liberty Hill’s mission and serve alongside colleagues who are passionate about providing justice and equity for all.

As Liberty Hill’s Senior Director of Programs, Kristen integrates impact, innovation, and infrastructure into our program delivery. She ensures each program contributes to LHF’s overarching goals, along with smooth project implementation and execution.

Kristen has 15 years of experience across the nonprofit, philanthropic and public sectors leading teams to achieve mission-driven goals. Previously, she led the Program Management Office at the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority, overseeing a team charged with improving Los Angeles County’s rehousing system. Kristen also held program leadership roles at the Urban Institute and Milken Family Foundation, where her work focused on economic mobility, housing justice and racial equity.

She earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with minors in Public Affairs and Spanish from the University of California, Los Angeles and her Master of Public Administration with a concentration in Urban Policy from George Washington University. Kristen is PMP and Lean certified, and passionate about inclusively improving processes to maximize impact.
