Kristin Thomas was born and raised in Los Angeles, blossoming in the vibrant tapestry of South-Central Los Angeles, specifically in the Vermont Square area. Nurtured by the loving hands of her mother and grandmother, she has always harbored a profound commitment to the Los Angeles community. Her educational journey, traversing various private schools throughout the city, has been the sturdy foundation upon which her aspirations were built.
Throughout her professional career, she embraced a multitude of roles, evolving from branch coordinator to office manager. In the spring of 2015, a move to the Bay Area kindled a renewed sense of purpose and reignited her passion for community engagement. Seeking a transformation in her career, she enrolled at the City College of San Francisco, where she earned an Associate of Arts in psychology. By the summer of 2021, she found herself as an Executive Assistant on AIDS LifeCycle of the San Francisco AIDS Foundation. As autumn 2023 unfurled, she returned to her Los Angeles roots, embarking on a remarkable chapter as a program coordinator with the Liberty Hill Foundation.
As the Program Coordinator, Kristin plays a key role in supporting the planning, implementation, and evaluation of programs that align with Liberty Hill Foundation’s mission and strategic goals.This position offers an opportunity to make a tangible impact through advocacy, community engagement, and program development.
